Job Description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Market Engagement Manager to join our growing team in Chicago.

In this role, you will lead a team of Outreach Leads who engage directly with utility customers, helping them access energy efficiency upgrades and incentive programs to maximize their participation in utility offerings.

This position also involves managing municipal account relationships and coordinating strategy with the utility's external affairs team, making government affairs knowledge a plus.About Us:Resource Innovations (RI) is an energy transformation firm focused on impact.

Reasonable accommodations are available for candidates with disabilities throughout the application process.Duties and Responsibilities Provide management and leadership to a team of five to seven Energy Advisors, including tracking program and sales goals, KPIs, and budgets.

Provide support to Utility External Affairs and Large Customer management teams Manage day-to-day activities, team goals, outreach strategy and objectives while supporting the outreach role for Municipal customers.

Oversees and reports on program operation activities, such as project verification activities, customer satisfaction, client and stakeholder documentation requirements Serves as a Software Super User, understanding system functionalities, training staff on program operations software, and assisting with problem-solving with the development team.

Conducts outreach, educates, and assists Municipal customers so they may effectively participate in utility energy efficiency programs by identifying and strategizing energy efficiency strategies.

Develops and executes outreach strategies to recruit new and retain current customers.

Helps customers identify qualifying projects and associated incentives and supports customer incentive application completion, submission, and follow-up.

Responds to program inquiries.

Trains and supports customers to use new software programs, if needed.

Represents utility energy efficiency Program at community events, industry trade shows, conference presentations, and webinars Collaborates with the marketing department to develop and implement targeted outreach messaging and advertising Other duties as assigned.
