Responsibilities Oversee every finance function, including accounting, monthly & quarterly close, AR & AP, FP&A, etc.

Manage fintech compliance personnel in conjunction with the CEO Ensure Applause remains in good standing with BaaS partners and govt entities Hire and manage a team both in the U.S. and Internationally Oversee most back office operations: legal, equity, investor reporting, governance, board approvals, etc.

Track financial and company metrics.

Build a BI function to complement department data & KPIs.

Manage cash flow to the help the company stay lean and remain on track with the annual budget Enable revenue teams and executives by putting in appropriate controls that aren’t overly burdensome Qualifications 5+ years experience as #1 or #2 finance leader at a series-B or series-C VC-backed SaaS company Fintech experience is a plus but not required Excellent finance and analytical skills Very intelligent and a fast learner Great leader that has a track record of building and managing high performing teams Strong business sense w/ exposure to many SaaS startup functions outside of pure finance About ApplauseApplause is a SaaS start-up founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by the best VCs in Silicon Slopes.
