You will be responsible for overseeing a talented group of individuals, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and actively participating in the technical development and implementation of backend solutions.We are looking for a willing to join a long-term project for our strategic client – one of the largest manufacturing companies from Sweden, offering IoT solutions and assets management.

In this role you will lead a team of passionate engineers responsible for development and maintenance of business critical micro-services such as integrations, payments as well as user identity, authorization and access management.The company is well-established in the market, but even so, the work culture is not like in typical corporations.

Teams are small and autonomous, engineers are given extensive freedom of action, and remote-first & async-first approach is promoted (spotify-derived model).

🔷Responsibilities:Lead and guide a cross-functional team consisting of backend/fullstack engineers (senior level) that develop core company productsBe a team player – focus on providing resources and information your team members need to achieve their goals and get their stuff doneDrive team plannings, dailies and other ceremonies that you choose to be necessary to prioritize and execute workCultivate a respectful and supportive environment for all team members that effectively leverage the potential of the team.Coach and mentor team members to increase their impact through regular performance development and feedback conversations.Remain hands-on and continue being active as a developer – Typescript & Node.js - to technically support the team with its tasks and responsibilities, and understand team needsDesign and develop cloud native applications based on AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridgeDesign and implement test automation with holistic approach in Frisby/ Postman/PlaywrightWork closely with the Architects & SRE team and follow security & reliability standardsWork closely with product owners, managers and other leaders to fully align on requirements, goals and company OKRsCollaborate with the team and drive it while ensuring high code quality and standardsBe actively involved in designing and developing reliable & secure backend features/functions🎯Requirements:Min.

8 years of experience as Backend Developer with documented experience as a team/tech leader with recent projects in TypeScript and Node.jsExperience in engineering and implementing complex and distributed systems and applications.
