To drive our strategy, we are now seeking a high calibre professional and self-motivated Programme Manager to join our Data team.DAO Programme Managers are responsible for the leadership of a team of project managers, business analysts and contingent project resources across multiple locations.
The role will also be responsible for execution in the Regulatory Excellence programme through a range of methodologies as well as having holistic oversight of the relevant DAO product development roadmaps and the adoption plans.
The initial assignment will be on the Regulatory Excellence programme where the role holder will focus on Regulatory Reporting deployment / enhancements.
The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a dynamic team on a high profile and exciting / engaging programme of work.What you’ll doOwning delivery execution within the Regulatory Excellence programme as well as having holistic oversight of the product development roadmap and the adoption plans Accountable for programme delivery strategy and approach across a series of capabilities / projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changesAccountable for programme reporting, governance and benefits realisation / Objectives Key Results (OKR) management to all relevant stakeholders / committees in accordance with HSBC’s Change FrameworkLeading Project Managers / Scrum Masters / PMOs on a high-profile global delivery to ensure commitments are met across budget / benefits / schedule / scopeProactively partnering with Product and SMEs in the annual planning and forecasting processAccountable for the intake of all new work and the evaluation of new change requirements, facilitating integrated triage to identify requirements, scope and budgetDrive stakeholder discussions related to delivery strategy, scope, capabilities and budgetOwning and managing resource plans with Project Managers / Scrum Masters, producing/overseeing indicative pricing and detailed budgets that match a description of deliverables and actual work effortServing as an escalation point to manage risks, issues and dependencies.
Provide solutions-oriented consultation to integrated team leads, proactively controlling scope and the change control process, and collaborating with stakeholders to strategically identify and implement solutionsManage negotiations and oversee the management and service agreement monitoring of TP contractsUsing approved change management tools e.g.
JIRA and Confluence, to establish delivery dashboards and reports to ensure financial health, live deliverables and performance against KPIs / OKRsPartnering with other global Programme Managers and Programme Office to implement the approved DAO vision for delivery management and contribute to the future evolution of the disciplineEstablish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes to promote consistency of outputs across all deliverables in line with the Change Framework and HSBC’s Risk and Controls frameworkManaging and mentoring Project Management / Scrum team members, including resolving escalations, setting and managing performance goals, coaching individual career growth paths and balancing workloadsWhat you need to have to succeed in this roleSolid recruitment knowledge.

You will interact with hiring managers and department heads on daily basis.Proficiency in English.
