We’re looking for a Network Engineer (aka The Connectivity Architect) to design, manage, and optimize network systems that power productivity and ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.As a Network Engineer at our client, you’ll collaborate with IT teams, provide technical expertise in networking, and develop solutions that support scalability and security.
Your role will be critical in ensuring the network operates at peak efficiency, supporting all aspects of the business.Key Responsibilities: Design and Implement Network Infrastructure: Plan, design, and implement network systems including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN setups.
You’ll create network architectures that align with organizational needs and provide scalability.
Optimize Network Performance and Reliability: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure optimal speed, stability, and availability.
You’ll use diagnostic tools to preemptively identify potential bottlenecks and latency.
Ensure Network Security and Compliance: Deploy and manage security protocols such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and VPN configurations to safeguard the network from external threats.
You’ll ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices.
Support Network Expansion and Upgrades: Collaborate on network upgrade projects, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide recommendations for future network expansions.
You’ll support implementation to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
Document Network Configurations and Changes: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topologies, and troubleshooting steps.
You’ll ensure clear, accurate records for reference and support continuity.
Troubleshoot Complex Network Issues: Provide advanced technical support for complex network issues, working with IT teams and end-users to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Evaluate and Integrate Network Tools and Technologies: Keep up-to-date with the latest in network technologies, evaluate new tools, and integrate them where beneficial to improve network operations and monitoring.
