IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Senior Surge Support Lead to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States.

Surge support team oversight is crucial for the VA organization's expansion, the enhancement of existing facilities, ensures timely deployment of essential IT resources, allowing new sites to become operational and upgrades to be carried out at existing locations efficiently.Surge support involves tasks requiring additional personnel beyond the local OIT staff.

This includes Activations, Lifecycle Refresh, Equipment accountability (inventory), Obsolescence management, and other initiatives.

Surge Support can be pre-planned and unplanned, such as emergency support for IT assistance during unforeseen events impacting local OIT teams like fires, flooding, hurricanes, etc.This is a 100% remote position that can be done from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities: Maintain the Surge Support schedule in coordination with approved VA Surge Support Request.

Staff each Surge Support request from ESOM assigned personnel and coordinate travel for the assigned team to share resources such as rental cars if appropriate.

Support financial and administrative functions related to travel, including LEAF request approvals before they reach the Contract Officer Representative, budget forecast and expenditure ledger.

Collaborate closely with District Leaders, Area Managers, Activation Support PMO, and other stakeholders to tailor solutions for each requirement.

This includes planning IT support activities with local teams, ensuring onsite leads are assigned, agree upon a detailed scope and agenda for the engagement, line up necessary tools and preparations such as network activities, inventory related activities, scheduling equipment transportation with site support as needed, etc. file for elevated privileges at the worksite, arranging facility access, freight elevator access etc. as needed.

Provide daily reports and trip reports to the VA for each tasking.

Improve operational efficiency by sharing lessons learned and managing a repository of best practices.

Perform other ESOM duties as assigned.
