You're an excellent fit for this position if you want to ship world-class products while pursuing excellence in quality, improving engineering teams' and processes' efficiency.As a QA Engineer, you will:Care about quality in every stage of the software development life cycle,Write e2e tests in Playwright and Detox,Perform exploratory testing of new features,Prepare test plans and determine what needs to be automated,Contribute to the incident management process by classifying reported issues,Assess testing frameworks to find opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness,Cooperate with Product & Technology Teams to establish new and improve existing quality practices,Impact on identifying and driving testing processes' improvements by actively participating in QA Guild meetings and other Technology department initiatives.You are a perfect fit if you:Have 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Assistance,Have experience writing e2e tests,Have experience using any automation framework, preferably Playwright or CypressHave an understanding of Frontend and Backend communication, e.g.
REST API, and know-how this applies to testing methods and automation,Understand and follow the best coding & testing practices,Show the 'getting things done' attitude, proactively solving issues and taking ownership of new initiatives,Have proficiency in English.You will earn extra points for:Experience in mobile application testing automation, e.g.
Detox, Appium,Experience with Shopify ecosystem,React knowledge of DOM elements and components in terms of E2E frameworks integration,Having experience with non-functional automated tests (e.g. scalability limits, performance, security, etc.),Bonus cookie points will be given for experience working in a SaaS startup/scaleup company.
