Job Description

Are you driven by the challenge of designing complex, immersive AR and VR systems that transform user experiences?

Do you have the technical prowess to build robust, scalable systems that support everything from real-time rendering to multi-sensory interactions?

If you’re ready to shape the architecture behind groundbreaking AR/VR applications, our client has the perfect role for you.

We’re looking for an AR/VR Systems Architect (aka The Immersive Visionary) to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced AR/VR systems that redefine what’s possible in digital engagement. As an AR/VR Systems Architect at our client, you’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to create scalable, high-performance systems that deliver smooth, captivating AR/VR experiences.

Your expertise in systems architecture, 3D graphics, and immersive technology will be essential in building foundational infrastructure that supports applications across industries.Key Responsibilities: Design Scalable AR/VR System Architectures: Develop the overall architecture for AR/VR systems, ensuring scalability, modularity, and performance.

You’ll define system components and their interactions to support complex, interactive experiences.

Oversee 3D Rendering and Graphics Pipelines: Lead the design and optimization of rendering pipelines, ensuring high-quality visuals and smooth frame rates across diverse hardware.

You’ll work with advanced techniques like ray tracing, real-time lighting, and LOD management.

Integrate Hardware and Software Components: Design systems that seamlessly integrate hardware (VR headsets, AR glasses, controllers) and software components, including sensor data, graphics engines, and input handling.

You’ll create a cohesive experience that’s responsive and immersive.

Implement and Optimize Real-Time Data Processing: Develop systems for real-time data processing, such as positional tracking, motion capture, and environmental scanning.

You’ll ensure accurate, low-latency feedback for immersive, responsive interactions.

Collaborate on Multi-Sensory Interaction Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers and engineers to incorporate spatial audio, haptic feedback, and gesture recognition.

You’ll help define how different sensory inputs combine to enhance the user experience.

Conduct System Performance Testing and Optimization: Run performance diagnostics, stress tests, and hardware compatibility assessments.

You’ll identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure reliable performance across platforms and devices.

Stay Updated on AR/VR Architecture and Hardware Trends: Continuously research advancements in AR/VR architecture, hardware, and software.

You’ll incorporate the latest tools, frameworks, and best practices to keep systems on the cutting edge.
