Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer who will provide end-to-end manufacturing and process solutions for key design features in OURA’s products.

This includes manufacturing process development and capability, selection and qualification of manufacturing equipment, automation development, and process technology R&D.

What you will do:  Define best-in-class processes to meet all OURA design and operational requirements Develop and document processes, parameters, consumables and secondary operation requirements to meet defined specifications Work with Sourcing Managers to define and establish supply chain requirements utilizing selected equipment and manufacturing partners Provide leadership and support at manufacturing sites during development and production ramp Work with engineering and other cross-functional teams to drive issues to resolution Use data to drive process decisions and influence product and industrial design, including part tolerances and specifications Identify, research, develop, and qualify equipment manufacturers and suppliers Partner with Sourcing Managers and Product Designers to optimize product design and manufacturing processes for cost This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco or San Diego.
