You will be responsible for supporting us in winning great projects, leading our tech teams, supervising projects, continuously improving processes and raising quality standards.
Drive, passion and great communication will be key in this demanding but extremely rewarding role.Your responsibilities will include:DeliveryStarting and managing new projects as a main Data Engineer on our side, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetTranslating business needs into technical requirementsSharing technical expertise with the client and other team membersSupervising project delivery and developing best engineering practicesTackling most challenging technical problems and finding solutionsTeam managementGrowing tech teams and individuals by providing support, advice and mentorshipTaking care of the team's good performance, morale and developmentSalesTaking part in initial calls with clients/prospects and helping our sales team in finalizing the dealsAnalyzing customer needs based on information and documentation from the sales departmentPreparing proposals in accordance with the client's requirements and expectationsRecruitmentHelping us hire the most talented engineersDefining and specifying personal needs in the projectTaking part in the technical verification of candidatesRequirementsWhat's important for us?
At least 7 years of professional experience as a software developer,Proficiency in Python and SQL Good expertise in relational databases, especially PostgreSQLExpertise in data warehouses, especially SnowflakeProficiency in AWS cloud, especially Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, RDSPassion about good engineering practices and ability to inspire the teamExpertise in one of the data pipelines orchestration solutions like Airflow, Prefect or DagsterExperience in data architecture and modelingAbility to design, implement and monitor data pipelines, ETL/ELT processesExperience with infrastructure and deployment automation with Terraform Experience with Git version control systemsExcellent communication skillsPassion, self-reliance and ‘get things done’ approachPositive attitude to work (and life:))Fluent English (C1)You will score extra points for:Experience in DBT, or equivalent solutionKnowledge of Redis, Memcached, ElasticsearchExpertise in Redshift, BigQuery or DatabricksGood knowledge of Django or other Python web frameworksExperience in helping companies with growing technical teams and winning new projectsContributions to open source software projectsActive participation in the communityBenefitsWhat do we offer?
