Job Description
The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Manager is responsible for overseeing and conducting financial due diligence engagements with a focus on evaluating the quality of a company's earnings.
This role involves analyzing financial statements, identifying key financial trends, and providing insights that inform transaction decisions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
The TAS Manager works closely with clients, internal teams, and other advisors to ensure accurate, thorough, and reliable financial analysis.
Lead and manage transaction advisory engagements, including buy-side and sell-side due diligence, M&A advisory, and financial modeling Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence, analyzing historical financial performance, and assessing future financial projections Analyze revenue recognition, expense matching, working capital trends, and other key financial metrics Identify and quantify non-recurring, non-operational, or other unusual items impacting earnings Prepare detailed quality of earnings reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations Prepare detailed financial reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for clients Develop financial models to support valuation, pricing, and other transaction-related analyses Coordinate with clients, other advisors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless transaction processes Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends Advise clients on the implications of regulatory changes on their transactions Communicate complex financial concepts and findings clearly and effectively to clients Identify opportunities to expand transaction services within existing and new client relationships
