We were born in 2011 as a result of a handful of entrepreneurs who not only had a knack for entertaining others but also an affinity with the iGaming industry.
They teamed up and went about building an industry leader, setting the bar to an all-new high.
Now in just ten years we now offer over 9,000 games from over 180 different game providers and we’re set to keep on growing!
Naturally, we can't do all of this as well as all the exciting things we have lined up for the years to follow without the living legends that make our business the success it is today.What will you be doing?
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be working on our in-house projects: designing features, writing code, performing code reviews, and solving problems.
There is a high demand for new products and features, which we all work with passion as a team to balance with proper maintenance for our legacy code while we work on new projects.
You will form part of a development team that owns and drives continuous improvement on their respective business domains using agile methodologies.
Other technologies we work with are LXC, PHP, Redis, RabbitMQ, MariaDB, and ElasticSearch to mention a few.
We are inherently a curious team and are always on the lookout for new technologies which could potentially be incorporated in our stack.
You will:Conduct analysis of website and application requirements.
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges Troubleshoot application and code issues.
Integration of data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, or others.
Finalize back-end features and testing web applications.
Update and altering application features to enhance performance including legacy code Help track requests, issues, work progress and any other changes Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables Coach and mentor other developers whilst performing code reviews Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
At least 5 years of experience in a comparable software development role Knowledge of PHP web frameworks.
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
Previous experience creating scalable applications.
Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
Ability to project manage.
Good problem-solving skills
