Role Purpose:As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible to work closely with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers where you will be ensuring the quality of deliverables through the application of manual and automated tests.

You will be defining and maintaining test cases while coming up with initiatives that improve test procedures.

This role can be performed as an employee, based in Malta, offering you the option to work from the office/hybrid/remotely.

This role is also open for candidates not residing in Malta on a fully remote basis.

Accountabilities:Create, review, maintain and execute test plans and test casesIdentify product deficiencies and suggest solutions to ensure the highest quality for our productsAble to challenge the Product Owner and Developers whenever required with the aim of achieving higher quality standardsWork with development teams throughout the entire development life cycle and perform planned and ad-hoc testingPerform investigative testing to determine possible causes of issuesPromote and ensure that Quality Assistance Gates are constantly being followed and improvedKnowledge, Experience & Skills:Minimum of 2 year experience in software QADegree in Information Technology or another related field Excellent knowledge of UX/UI testing and attention to details.Good knowledge of SQLGood knowledge of version control systemsSolid knowledge of Test Scenarios and Test Plans for any software projectExperience with test automation frameworks would be considered an advantageExperience working with Code development and API testingExperience working in a comparable role typically in iGaming would be considered an advantagePossession of Foundation ISTQB certificationPassion for being QA advocate to raise the bar for better quality gatesGood level of analytical and troubleshooting skills would be considered as an assetSelf-motivated and a fast learnerAbility to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work on your own initiativeProfound command of both verbal and written English
